Immigration: Politics & Beyond

Photos from the recent event in San Antonio:

MATT.org, in conjunction with the Mexican American Catholic College (MACC), will host a community panel discussion on comprehensive immigration reform, personal and faith-based aspects of the issue and predictions for 2009, on Tuesday, January 13, at MACC’s Community Center (W. French Place at Germania). Participants will have the opportunity to join MATT.org’s extensive network of supporters, gain insight on the current state of the immigration system, and walk away with the tools they need to take immediate action for reform. The Reverend Virgilio Elizondo, professor at the University of Notre Dame and founder of MACC, and other speakers, will also discuss how faith communities are receiving recently arrived immigrants with the San Juan Diego Project.
