I don't think it's so much "discrimination" as it is fear. I do think many border patrols are very rude, especially with people crossing the bridge. Maybe it's because they are trained to be intimidating with people so that they spill the truth in case they are lying, or maybe they're scared and it's the only way to hide that. I don't think we should judge them, and if they are being rude for no particular reason then you can always submit a complaint. When it comes to discrimination, it's more of a personal thing and I think we should be careful with generalizing that fact. Most border patrol are nice, except sometimes they have to look out for themselves first. They do risk their lives for us and I think we need to appreciate that. But it wouldn't hurt for some of them to be a bit nicer...
I have a lot of things in mind when you mention Border Patrol...but in my opinion, you are saying nothing with your photo essay. This isn't necessarily a good shot nor does it tell a story. Juan Carlos
