Attorney General of California, Jerry Brown, is now reversing his recent stance and support of Proposition 8, which overturned a court ruling allowing same sex marriage in California.  Brown is planning to run for California governor in 2010.

Now, he argues, the proposition, "deprives people of the right to marry, an aspect of liberty that the Supreme Court has concluded is guaranteed by the California Constitution."
