View one reporter's predictions for what could happen in 2009, from pulling troops out of Iraq, to a meteor hitting the Earth.

"I'm a reporter, not a pundit. I'll only tell you what the big themes will be in 2009. Think about it: If you assume (as I do) that national security is an issue, would you go so far as to predict that the United States will be attacked? That it won't? How the heck do you know? If you do, there are some TV bookers -- and CIA agents -- you really should be talking to."
