Merrill CEO bonus is 'shocking'
What's with all these top executives putting themselves in unforgiving money-centered situations in the middle of a recession? First the Big 3 fly to their bailout request hearing in three private jets, and now Merrilll Lynch CEO, John Thain, is requesting a year end bonus in upwards of $10 million. New York Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo, has already issued a statement to Merril's board of directors citing that thier takeover by Bank of America might have been the only thing keeping them afloat, and not to mention, the nearly $11 billion, they have lost in 2008. Needless to say, Cuomo, doesn't believe that the executives' annual performances warrant such a bonus - what do you think??
