Citizenship Week honors the diversity of Houston City focusing on contributions of its immigrants
Houston is a city of immigrants. More than 90 languages are spoken by local schoolkids. Both the Hispanic and the Vietnamese expatriate communities are the third-largest in the United States; the Nigerian community probably the biggest. From the highest jobs to the lowest, immigrants, city and civic leaders say, are among the Bayou City's greatest assets.
