What can YOU do to end the "atmosphere of violence" that many domestic workers endure?
A recent article in the New York Times details the horrific stories of abuse told by women, often immigrants, who labor as domestic workers.Domestic workers gathered recently to rally and protest these abuses.
Why do you think these kinds of abuses can still happen in the United States in this modern age?
What can be done to prevent mistreatment of domestic workers, especially immigrant women who feel that they have no way to defend themselves?
